1954 Ferrari 375 MM Pinin Farina Speciale Coupe

This stunning Ferrari was built for Roberto Rosselini's wife Ingrid Bergman. Not disimilar in appearance to Rudolph Uhlenhaut's Mercedes 300 SLR Coupe, the Bergman Coupe was the genesis for Ferrari's 275 GTB.

Virgil Exner's ultramodern Plymouth XNR looked like it could streak into the stratosphere in the blink of an eye. Plymouth promised the future with their wildly styled concept but gave little chance of it being reached. Beyond its 21st century costumery the XNR was just a plain old six cylinder Valiant. Tomorrow was just as far away in 1960 as it is today.
