i remember this ad, but now that i see it again these faces look more African in origin that uh, "Hawaiian"...
Perhaps these are East Coast tikis ?
I happen to have all the Tiki god necklaces, they were cast in lead painted black and other colors one had the company name on the inside made in the early 60s cool man!
