A/FX #2


Love 'em or hate 'em but there's no denying FoMoCo's A/FX Mustangs were heavy hitters on the strip. Dick Brannan's Hilborn injected 1966 short wheelbase car was destroyed in a crash at Detroit Dragway, but not before taking out the 1966 AHRA Winternationals at Irwindale.

Dual Quads


Chrysler employee and Ramchargers member Dan Mancini does a little fine-tuning. Mancini was a carburetion and dynomometer technician responsible for the development of the first tunnel ram and eventually became head of Chrysler's Woodward Garage. Read the story of the Ramchargers here.
