In its original incarnation Carroll Shelby's GT 350 was offered only in white, and if you asked, most admirers would tell you they all wore blue stripes. Yet less than half of the 521 street cars were delivered with the now mandatory Guardsman Blue stripes. Time has a funny way of distorting the facts.
